Book Blast Updates!

Final Update 10-26-2022

Just wanted to share a HUGE THANK YOU to family, friends and neighbors of our A-C Valley Elementary students.  Our first try at a Books are Fun- Book Blast was an Amazingly, Awesome SUCCESS! Through this community of supporters $15,841.21 was given to the students here at the elementary school to support the growth of their home libraries!  This means that ALL students will be receiving at least 2 books in the coming weeks and many others will be receiving 10! We hope to have this delivery before Thanksgiving Break, so stay tuned to find out exactly when this will happen! 
 
 Thank You all so very, very much for supporting this and we plan on doing this again in October, 2023!

It’s been fun giving away Book Blast Treasure Chests and even an iPad over the past two weeks.  Coming soon… the $100 Book Blast shopping sprees!  To our students and families, great job completing your Treasure Maps.  Enjoy your fun rewards!  We will celebrate soon with all the books heading our way.  Batten down the hatches and get ready for the big delivery!

Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond that has contributed to our Book Blast event! Let’s blow our Book Blast out of the water! We have only a few days left, so now is the time to act. The Book Blast is going strong as we approach these last few days of the event. The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. On top of that, the student with the highest dollar amount of contributions in the school will be awarded an additional $100 shopping spree. So, one student winner will be going home with a total of $200 in Book Blast shopping sprees!

The high seas have never looked more beautiful.....or been so smart! We’re sailing through our adventure to earn as many books as possible for our students, and we’re having fun along the way. Today, we announced the winner of the iPad! Congratulations, Braxton Hilliard! 

 
Over 200 students have participated so far, so many that Miss. Best had to order more prizes!  Hopefully they will be in tomorrow, because you still have all week to enter the Book Blast to get your three prizes for signing up 10 or more phone numbers or email addresses. 
 
Not only are we earning amazing books, but the student with the highest contributions in each grade level will earn a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. The student with the highest contributions in the entire school will earn an additional $100 Book Blast shopping spree too. Contributions can still be made until Friday, October 14.

Here is today's Book Blast Update- Cash Courson winner and today's kiddos that got their 3 prizes. Roxy Slee, Savanah Wagener, Izak Murray, Rose Hiebert, Merci Hiebert, Jayden Oesterling. 

Arrrrgh, matey!  Our book Blast has taken us on an incredible adventure, and we now have our 4th and final Treasure Chest stuffed with cash winner.  Congratulations, Cash Courson!

The grand prize drawing for the iPad is up next!  You can still register and enter the contact info for 10+ people who want to support your student’s love of books.  These steps will also enter your pirate into the drawing for the iPad.

Land ho! Our 3rd Book Blast Treasure Chest stuffed with cash winner has found the loot today. Congratulations, Tucker Elliott! We have more prizes to be awarded with our Book Blast event! The student with the highest dollar amount of contributions from each grade level will be awarded a $100 Book Blast shopping spree. The shopping spree awards are a fun way to add more books to your student’s home library!
