Dear Parents,

Angels for Christmas is a confidential gift-giving project that is sponsored by the ACV FIRST Program.  The FIRST Program will help financially needy families who reside in the ACV School District to provide gifts for their children for Christmas.  Children may receive a new coat or clothes, shoes or boots, and a wished-for toy.  The primary custodial parent or guardian may apply for this assistance by completing the application and returning it with your child or by mail to:  ACV FIRST Program, PO Box 100, Foxburg, PA  16036 as soon as possible and no later than October 27^th at 8 AM.  Each application will be reviewed and you will be contacted by phone to set up an appointment to complete the application process in person IF you qualify for this assistance.  Locations for appointments this year are from 9 AM to 5 PM in the following locations:  October 3-Emlenton Crawford Center Auditorium, October 12-Parker Firehall, October 18-St. Petersburg Borough Office.  All other appointments after October 19 will be made with Family Center Staff on an individual basis to take place at the ACV Elementary.  Please be sure to list at least one working phone number so you can be contacted.  Feel free to contact the FIRST Program if you have any questions regarding this process at 724-659-3224.
