What I like most about A-C Valley:  The students, teachers, and staff at the school district are first-class individuals, I have enjoyed each and every day that I have served as the A-C Valley school district leader.   In addition, our campus is beautiful, the buildings are well maintained, and this environment helps to promote a positive learning experience for all student!     

Educational Background: Bachelor of Science, Health & Physical Education from Slippery Rock University. Master of Education, K-12 Principal Certification and the Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Gannon University, and Educational Doctorate Degree from Drexel University.

Years of experience:  David has over 28 years of experience in education.

Years of experience at ACV: David McDeavitt has been serving the Allegheny-Clarion Valley School District since the 2006-2007 school year; five years as the A-CV Principal at the Jr/Sr High School, half a year as the A-CV Principal at the Elementary School and over 13 years as A-CV superintendent.

Hobbies/Interests: David’s greatest passion is to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoys riding motorcycles, both on the road and off. He is an avid snowboarder in the winter months and an angler during the summer months.
