Title I

  • Grant information and allocation

Title II 

  • Grant information and allocation
    • Purpose:  Supplemental funds to improve the skills of teachers and the quality of instruction in core academic subjects
    • 22-23 Allocation: $21,227.00
    • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds: We are using our Title II funds to support our Title I program.  

Title IV

  • Grant information and allocation
    • Purpose:  Supplemental funds to help provide students with a well-rounded education, improve school conditions, and improve the use of technology
    • 22-23 Allocation: $15,357.00
    • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds:   Career programs for the elementary and high school, as well as joining with the AmeriCorps program to give career opportunities to our high school students as they provided peer-mentoring to our elementary students 

 

Pandemic Relief Funding

ESSER I (Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund)

  • Purpose: Funds to address the impact of the pandemic
  • Allocation: $182,672
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds: Chromebooks for remote instruction, stipends for remote instruction, training for remote instruction, additional vans for safe and distanced transportation, and salaries and benefits for the part-time custodians

ESSER II (Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund)

  • Purpose: Funds to address the impact of the pandemic
  • Allocation:  $781,332
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds:  Update to the HVAC system, after-school and summer programs to address learning loss, salary and benefits for an elementary math coach, replacement chromebooks and software, ACV Cyber costs, contracted social worker, salaries and benefits for part-time custodians, data system software for the district, and additional disinfecting/cleaning supplies

ARP/ESSER (ESSER III) 

(American Rescue Plan - Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund)

  • Purpose:  Funds to address the impact of the pandemic
  • Allocation: $1,579,284
  • 20% must be used to address learning loss (roughly $315,856)
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds: Math coach at the elementary, furlough prevention to keep class sizes down, cyber service, updates in instructional technology and software, remediation supplies, afterschool and summer school programs, prior part-time aides moved to full-time, professional development for staff, a van for student transportation, a social worker and certified occupational therapist assistant to help with social skills and fine motor skills, social/emotional regulation skills lessons, etc.

ARP/ESSER Set Asides

(American Rescue Plan - Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund)

After School Set Aside

  • Purpose:  Funds to support an after-school program
  • Allocation: $17,548
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds:  We are currently running an after-school program based on assessment data

Summer School Set Aside

  • Purpose:  Funds to support a summer school program
  • Allocation: $17,548
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds:  We are currently planning a summer school program based on assessment data for the summer of 2021

Learning Loss Set Aside

  • Purpose:  Funds to address the learning loss during the pandemic to be used in the following increments: 30% to address the social, emotional, and mental health of students; 10% to provide professional development to school staff regarding the social, emotional and mental health needs of students; 8% to address reading remediation and improvement; and the remaining 52% to address learning loss
  • Allocation: $87,738
  • How A-C Valley is utilizing the funds:  We are planning to use these funds for a K-12 counselor, professional development training costs, reading remediation materials, remediation materials, a data warehouse, and support for the Americorps volunteers to help with tutoring
