A-C Valley Special Education

    At A-C Valley School District, the Special Education Department is charged with providing support services and education to students who have learning disabilities or exceptional cognitive or physical needs.  Many of these students are eligible for services through either a 504 Plan or Individualized Education Program (IEP).  Services are delivered to students from infancy to age 21 through early childhood education/intervention service programs outside of the district or through one or more of the following programs provided directly through the district or in partnership with the Riverview Intermediate Unit:
    • Specialized Academic Instruction
    • Speech-Language Therapy
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Physical Therapy 
    • Therapy for the Visual or Hearing Impaired
    • Assistive Technology
    • Mental Health Services 
    • Behavior Intervention and Assessment
    • Career and Transition Services
    • Life Skills Education Programming 
    • Autism Support Programming 
    • Sensory Room for Sensory Processing Disorder
