Our StoryCorps
ELA 12 StoryCorps Interviews

StoryCorps is a Internet webpage with a “mission is to record, preserve, and share the stories of Americans from all backgrounds and beliefs” and also has an app. Using StoryCorps, ELA 12 students had to interview someone who has made a positive impact on their lives. Then the students had to edit their interviews to show the essence of the longer interviews, just as the ones played on NPR. A final step in the process was allowing the students the opportunity to share their edited interviews on our school’s webpage.
