HIGH SCHOOL LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHER

     Hello!  I have been with A-C Valley School District for five years.   I teach direct instruction reading and co teach with several teachers at the high school.  My Direct Instruction Reading Class is 7th - 9th grade.  When I co-teach, I work with students in all grades at the high school.  Co-teaching means that a core content teacher and I work together to teach a class to ensure that ALL students are successful.  This is a great way to break students into small groups and have more time with the teacher.  This also gives us the opportunity to provide enrichment or remediation to individuals or a small group while the other teacher is working with the rest of the class.

     I believe that all students can learn.  Students learn through different modalities.  I believe in using technology to help prepare our students for the future.  All I ask from the students is to give their best and to never give up! INTERESTS:
I live with my husband, two pug dogs, and a few cats!  I love to spend time camping, interacting with my pugs, watching dirt track racing (especially sprints), and going on vacation!  My favorite vacation spot is the beach!  My favorite colors are blue and green !
