I grew up in the local area, graduating from Moniteau High School.  I attended Gannon University in Erie, PA where I earned my degree in both Special Education and Elementary Education.  The 2011-2012 school year marks my 10th year as part of the ACV teaching staff and family where I call room 107 home.  I teach both junior and senior high learning support English as well support students during resource periods.

My favorite part of teaching is getting to watch our kids grow, mature, and learn throughout their years here.  I also like the opportunity I have to work with families and collaborate with my co-workers.

I live in a neighboring school district with my daughter, husband, Golden Retriever, and kitten.  In my free time I enjoy wakeboarding and anything to do with water, camping, and playing with my daughter.  I'm also an avid scrapbooker and photographer.
